What courses do Assembly Arts offer?

01

Aimed at complete beginners: Learn how to process and print black and white 35mm film and discover the creative aspects of aperture and shutter speed during this six week course.

​

No previous experience is necessary as you will be guided through all aspects of developing and printing. 

Suitable for those with some prior experience - 6 sessions in the darkroom with Alan on hand to guide.

 

After taking pictures on a 35mm manual single lens reflex camera you will process the film and print from the negatives you have created. You may use your own 35mm camera or one can be provided.

A course exploring the creative potential of smartphone photography.

Ever wondered how to make the most of your smartphone? Well this course might be for you. Learn how to transform your images from the everyday into something truly special. You will study both the creative and technically aspects of using your smart phone camera, and relevant editing software.
