Pottery Wheel Throwing Lessons
Personalised, flexible classes at the pottery wheel with feedback and support from Rae
Service Description
Have you always wanted to have a go at using a potters wheel? Have a go in Pottery Wheel Throwing Lessons here at Assembly Arts! With expertise in helping beginners learn at the wheel, and training in wide range of techniques and materials, Rae can guide you through throwing and turning beginner and advanced shapes, making sure you get the most out of your time at the potters wheel. Rae is also experienced working with individuals from a range of backgrounds, including neurodivergent clients. So if you need something tailored to meet your needs, this is the place for you. Nervous to join a big group? Want to try something new, but struggle to focus? Perhaps you have a few classes under your belt, but you think you might have forgotten everything? Whatever it is, we have you covered. By the way, we have two wheels - one electric wheel and one kick wheel*, so if you have a friend who'd also like to have ago, why not bring them along? We highly recommend booking on with a 4 session pack, giving you the chance to follow a pot through throwing, turning and glazing. *The kick wheel is a workout.. and not suitable for those with knee or hip issues. It is, however, perfect for those who would enjoy a moment of complete focus. Highly recommended opportunity to escape a racing mind.
