​Our well equipped purpose built darkroom includes 3 x 35mm - medium format (6x7) LPL variable contrast enlargers (each with Schneider Componon/Nikon lenses and Durst timers) and 1 x DeVere 504 condenser/cold cathode enlarger for all formats including and up to 5x4.​

​

Hire is £25 for 3 hours (£20 for members) and this includes:

​

- All ready mixed chemistry in trays for all paper sizes up to 16x20 inches paper including developer, stop that and fix.

 

- Storage of negatives and prints between sessions.

 

- All equipment needed to produce prints including focus finders, masking easels, dodging tools, light box, magnifiers and drying rack 

 

- Film drying cabinet

 

- A selection of developing tanks and spirals, measuring cylinders and thermometers

 

- Dedicated light tight film loading room

With optional extras:

​

- 10x8 inch resin coated Ilford Multigrade paper can be purchased at £1.00 per sheet

 

- Chemistry for processing black and white 35mm/120 film can be purchased for £5.00 per 600ml tank

 

- Help loading films onto spirals by prior arrangement 

 

- Locker to store paper, negatives, equipment and other gear (£5 per month)
